Snow covered newly born calf

Snow covered newly born calf

A newly born calf covered with snow is at risk of dying from suffication or from the cold. Mother cows take good care of
newly born calves but sometimes lose them in blizzards. Ranchers keep constanst wastch over cattle due to give birth to find such calves and take them in along with the mother cow to feed them and warm them up; in a "special hot box".
